Molly as Alexis Castle

On ABC’s hit TV series, Castle, Molly Quinn plays Alexis Castle, the teenage daughter of a famous Novelist, Richard Castle. Starting the series off at fifteen years old, Alexis Castle acts much older than her age. She is a level minded, mature young lady who is always looking after her often not so mature father. Though she lives with her father and grandmother, Alexis seems to be the only real ‘adult’ in the house. She often helps her father, who is currently shadowing Detective Kate Beckett for a book series, solve murder cases throughout the series by giving her advice or thoughts on a situation.

During the series, Alexis Castle is portrayed as an average teenage girl, despite growing up in the world of fame and money. Having seen what fortune and publicity does to ones mind, Alexis decided to let herself be ‘normal’. Though her father often insists that she take risks, and go out and have fun and live a little more on the edge, Alexis is hesitant to do so and the times she does, her father often changes his mind about the idea. Alexis and her father have a good relationship, but like most fathers and daughters, they do fight at times but often make up right away. Alexis’ mother, Meredith, proves to be much like her father, immature and a little crazy. Alexis loves her mother but is glad that they have their distance. Alexis also has a good relationship with her grandmother, Martha.
